Welcome! We want your experience with By Jove Creative—whether buying handmade pieces online or joining us for art tuition and wellbeing sessions—to be smooth, transparent, safe, and sparkly. ✨ Below are our official policies covering online orders, session bookings, privacy, and studio terms.

1. Online Shop Shipping & Delivery

From our studio to your hands—safely and lovingly.

  • Methods & Couriers: Orders are packed with care and shipped via Australia Post or courier services (e.g., StarTrack/Toll), depending on package size and destination.

  • Delivery Times: Standard delivery takes 1–7 business days within Australia (regional locations may take slightly longer).

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order has been dispatched.

  • Unpacking & Care: Packages are securely sealed for transport. Please unpack delicate ceramics, mosaics, and jewellery carefully. Damage incurred while opening packages using sharp tools cannot be refunded.

2. Shop Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you buy! Our policy complies with Australian Consumer Law:

  • Faulty or Damaged Items: Contact us within 7 days with photos of the damaged item and packaging, and we’ll arrange a replacement, store credit, or full refund.

  • Sale & Custom Items: Sale items, cleared stock, and custom artwork or jewellery commissions cannot be refunded or exchanged for change of mind.

  • Exchanges & Return Shipping: Return shipping costs for change-of-mind exchanges are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

3. Class Bookings, Cancellations & Terms

  • Single Session Cancellations: We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a casual workshop or single session for a full refund or session transfer. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable, though you may transfer your spot to a friend.

  • 1:1 5-Week Blocks:

    • Full payment is required prior to the first session.

    • All 5 sessions must be completed within 7 weeks of your start date.

    • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule an individual session within your block; cancellations under 24 hours forfeit that session.

    • Blocks are non-refundable once commenced, but unredeemed sessions may be transferred to a family member or friend.

  • Studio Safety & Risk: Creative processes involve tools and materials (e.g., cutting tools, glues, clays, paints). While safety instructions are provided, participants (or parents/guardians for minors) attend at their own risk and assume responsibility for personal property and attire.

4. Scope of Practice & Qualifications

  • Art Therapy Practitioner: By Jove Creative provides creative wellbeing and holistic art therapy sessions. Please note that Chantelle is a certified Holistic Art Therapist (trained through Health and Harmony Colleges) and a Creative Arts Professional (trained through Milan Art Institute). She is not a clinical psychotherapist or registered psychologist, and sessions do not replace formal psychiatric care or clinical diagnoses.

  • Safety & Compliance: Chantelle holds a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), a Statement of Attainment in Individual Support, and current First Aid & CPR Certification, ensuring a safe, qualified, and compliant environment for participants of all ages and abilities.

5. Privacy Policy

Your info is safe with us, especially when engaging in creative wellbeing and art therapy sessions.

  • We Collect: Name, email, phone number, shipping/payment details, and voluntary intake information for sessions or workshops.

  • We Use It: To process shop orders, confirm bookings, communicate with you, and tailor your session experience.

  • We Share It: Only with trusted partners required to operate (e.g., Shopify, shipping couriers) or with your direct consent for therapeutic sessions. We never sell your personal information.

  • Your Rights: You may access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal contact data anytime.

6. Terms of Service

  • Website Use: Please use our site and services legally and respectfully.

  • Updates & Pricing: We reserve the right to update services, prices, and terms at any time.

  • Liability & Governing Law: We are not liable for indirect or accidental damages—though we hold full responsibility for our direct mistakes! These terms follow Australian law.
