Artwork inspired Poem:
The pressure of the current forced through her,
She barely kept her head above the water,
As she opened one eye and gasped for air,
She glanced at the crescent moon,
She realised,
This could be the end,
She was drowning,
yet floating all at the same time,
As the weight of the ocean waters crashed over her,
She became fearful of the unknown,
she felt she would never be the same again,
Then she heard the whales calling to her,
She felt comfort in going with the flow,
She learned to trust,
For she was exactly where she needed to be,
And she was right,
She would never be the same again,
She would be better than she’s ever been.
